...but you can call me, Sam.

Hello! My name is...
Education
After soul-searching and a few wandering years chasing another major (sorry, Mom), I found my way to graphic design at JCCC. Since graduating in 2007 I haven't looked back and have worked in agency and in-house mdoels, as well as contract work.
Professional
Now, with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry I’ve had the privilege of building brands, leading creative teams, and crafting solutions that leave lasting impact. Along the way, I’ve shared my knowledge with clients and colleagues alike to foster collaboration and innovation.
Personal
As a Kansas City native, I've lived in various areas around the city and currently call downtown home. My free time is spent laughing with my husband of six years, traveling and searching for the perfect charcuterie board, and spending quality time with our dog, Dexter and cat, Kitty.

On a personal note
I'm drawn to the mystery of nature and the refreshing Italian phrase, "Il dolce far niente," which when translated means: the sweetness of doing nothing. The idea is not about laziness, but an acceptance and enjoyment in the simplicity and quiet moments of life. I'm also inherently attracted to classic design details most notably found French, English, and Italian aesthetics. Searching for ways to curate an eclectic, collected home fills my free time, and though I gravitate towards timeless a good trend can capture my heart. Constantly seeking balance, beauty, and the art of calm through carbs, cappuccino, and a meaningful life filled with joy.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.
I CAN'T WAIT TO TURN great ideas
INTO impactful creations TOGETHER.
